19" (48 cm.) including base. Standing upon a wooden plinth with faux-marble finish is an all-wooden figure with beautifully-carved and painted face and tousle-blown hair accentuated by deeply-defined combmarks, having blue enamel eyes, closed mouth, well-defined chin and ears, wooden block torso and lower legs with carved toes, wooden arms modeled bent at elbows with expressive fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Continental, early 1800s. Value Points: remarkably fine state of preservation with beautifully painted features, all wooden body, original ivory satin gown with rich decoration.
