12" (30 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, cobalt-blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with pale outlined lips, unpierced ears, blonde mohair wig, stretched kid-over-wooden body with dowel jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, bisque arms from below the elbows. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: attributed to Simon and Halbig, circa 1870. Value Points: pristine condition of the rare model with original braided coiffure, rare body, perfect bisque hands, pronounced eyeliner that beautifully contrasts the pale complexion.
