The walnut-shaped necessaire with gold-plated edging is fitted with miniature sewing accessories including miniature brass scissors, thimble, awl, and needle case, along with leather bound book with gilt edging. With 2" miniature tan kidskin gloves with white kidskin edging. Excellent condition. French, circa 1875.
