8" (20 cm.) Bisque socket head with rich brown complexion, dark brown glass inset eyes, black painted lashes, black brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, slightly parted lips with little row of teeth, pierced ears, black mohair wig over Steiner pate, Steiner composition body jointed at shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent, hands repainted. Marks: Le Parisien Bte SGDG A 1 (head) Le Petit Parisien Bebe Steiner (body). Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1890. Value Points: beautiful complexion with original matching body, very rare in this petite size with fully articulated body, fine antique dress, undergarments, woven bonnet, and tiny French shoes.
