Description
7 1/2" (19 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, four tiny porcelain teeth, blonde mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, thigh-high painted black stockings, brown one-strap shoes, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S 4 H 890. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1895. Value Points: pretty example of the sought-after all-bisque doll known as "black stocking" girl.
