19" (48 cm.) All-cloth doll with swivel head, pressed and painted complexion and facial features, blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, white eye dots, closed mouth with full lips, brunette mohair bobbed wig, stitch jointing at shoulders and hips, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, some dustiness. Marks: Kamkins (heart mark on chest). Comments: Louise Kampes, who sold her artistic cloth dolls on the Boardwalk of Atlantic City, early 20th century. Value Points: American doll with distinctive style, maker's mark.
