22" (56 cm.) Bisque socket head, large blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brush-stroked brows, rose-blushed eye shadow, accented eye corners and shaded nostrils, open mouth, outlined lips, two rows of tiny porcelain teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, body repainted. Marks: Bru Jne R 9. Comments: Maison Bru during the Girard epoch, circa 1895. Value Points: beautiful ivory bisque with lovely painting of features, rare double row of tiny teeth, beautiful antique dotted Swiss costume, undergarments, ruffled bonnet, stockings, and leather shoes.
