24" (61 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark rose eyeshadow, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with shaded and outlined lips, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, original body with light retouch on arms. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 11 (head). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1886. Value Points: lovely gleaming bisque and rich brown eyes, original Jumeau couturier costume (few holes, some repairs to silk panel), original Jumeau earrings and signed Jumeau shoes.
