Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate with modeled bosom and shoulderblades, blue glass paperweight inset eyes with spiral threading, thick dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, delicately rose-blushed eye shadow, shaded nostrils of softly-rounded nose closed mouth, tiny tongue tip between the outlined shaded lips, dimpled chin and philtrum, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, slender kid body with scalloped edge collarette, kid-over-wooden upper arms, bisque forearms, wooden lower legs. Condition: generally excellent, fine restoration to left fingers is virtually imperceptible. Marks: Bru Jne 1 (head and shoulders). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, Chevrot epoch, circa 1885. Value Points: very rare petite size 1 has gorgeous dreamy expression accented by choicest bisque and painting, original wig, pate, body, and wearing original aqua silk costume with lace trim, undergarments, large wire-brimmed bonnet, aqua knit stockings, and leather Bru shoes signed "B" in oval.
