Description
6" (15 cm.) l. sofa. Of soft wood with lithographed paper cover having gilt accents to simulate inlaid rosewood, the set comprises sewing table with fitted drawer below an attached box which hinges open to reveal a mirror and toilette articles; sofa with original burgundy silk upholstery and silk cord edging; round pedestal table; wall hanging clock with swinging pendulum; and set of four chairs with original dainty floral upholstery. Generally excellent. Germany, attributed to the firm of D.H. Wagner, circa 1880.
