7" (18 cm.) Bisque socket head with pronounced plump cheeks, tiny blue glass sleep eyes, tiny painted lashes, tinted brows, accented nostrils of tiny nose, open mouth with outlined lips, two porcelain lower teeth, brunette mohair wig, composition toddler body with painted shoes and socks. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1407 16 Germany. Comments: the sweet toddler was designed by the American artist Joseph Kallus, trademarked as "Baby Bo-Kaye" and commissioned by George Borgfeldt from Germany, circa 1927. Value Points: rare model designed by named artist, has wonderful expression and antique costume.
