Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, long painted lashes, rose-blushed eyeshadow, wide fringed brows, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with upturned lip corners, shaded lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, cork pate, French composition body with jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent, original body and body finish. Marks: Steiner Paris Fre C 13 (head) A La Mignonette/Poupees et Bebes...Mon. Guigue, 4 rue Notre Dame de Lorette (paper label inside head). Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1884, very dear bebe with gentle smile, original dress, undergarments, silk bonnet, leather shoes.
