9 1/2" (24 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass inset eyes, closed mouth, brunette mohair wig drawn into chignon at nape, composition body jointed at shoulders and hips, painted flat black shoes. Condition: near mint. Marks: 221 3/0 (head). Comments: French, SFBJ, mid-1900s, from a series of historical portrait of 19th century ladies and royalty. Value Points: pristine condition, the doll is wearing factory-original costume with rhinestone coronet and necklace, with original stand and box, with original gilt Jumeau label with ink script "Victorian I Reine d'Angleterre Epoque 1850", and with original store label from FAO Schwarz New York.
