Bisque swivel head on kid-lined bisque shoulder plate,blue glass enamel inset eyes,painted lashes and brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with accented lips,ears pierced into head,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,all-wooden fully-articulated wooden poupee body with jointing at shoulders,elbows,hips and knees,separately-carved fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2. Comments: French,circa 1865. Value Points: rare all-articulated wooden body with original finish,beautiful pale bisque,fine antique costume comprising mauve and cream early skirt,white blouse,undergarments,stockings,black kidskin slippers,woven bonnet with velvet flowers,and carrying a miniature basket with tiny purple flowers.
