Description
9" (23 cm.) x 6". The heavy hard stock placard portrays a lithographed illustration of a Bebe Jumeau on the front, in fashionable silk costume, bonnet with classic Jumeau shoes, and is labeled "Bebe Jumeau Diplome d'Honneur 1885" indicating the firm's award won at the 1885 Exposition. On the reverse of the card is an illustration of the factory, publicity about the dolls, and a note that this is a souvenir card from a set of 12 dressed dolls issued for the 1889 Paris Exposition. Excellent condition. 1889.
