Pressed bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate with modeled bosom and shoulder blades, almond-shaped blue glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes, mauve-blushed eye shadow, brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with well-defined tongue tip, outlined shaded lips, dimpled chin, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, kid bebe body with gusset jointing, kid-over-wooden upper arms, bisque forearms with sculpted hands, lovely silk velvet costume, undergarments. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Bru Jne 8 (head) No. 8 Bru Jne (shoulders). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, circa 1882. Value Points: gorgeous bebe with outstanding modeling especially around the eyes and mouth, deep eyes, sturdy original early body, perfect bisque hands, fine antique bonnet, cameo, toilette case, and leather shoes signed "Bru Jne Paris 8".
