Description
5 1/2" (14 cm.) Solid domed bisque swivel head on bisque torso, large blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, arched brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with full lips, blonde mohair wig, peg jointing at shoulders and hips of elongated legs, unusual system of elbow jointing, bare feet, costume included. Condition: generally excellent, restoration to upper right arm, tiny flakes at two stringing holes. Comments: French, circa 1882. Value Points: rare jointing system, bare feet, beautiful painting of features.
