Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, mohair lashes, painted lower lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, shaded and accented lips, two porcelain teeth, tongue, brunette mohair wig, composition five-piece baby body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: F.S. & C. Simon & Halbig 1296 Germany 40. Comments: Franz Schmidt, circa 1915. Value Points: the delicately featured character baby is wearing superb lace and silk ribbon gown with matching bonnet, and is resting in a matching lace bunting with padded pillow and aqua silk banding.
