22" (56 cm.) Bisque socket head with flattened solid dome, almond-shaped blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, pierced ears, brunette human hair, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, lovely antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S 13 H 939. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1885. Value Points: beautiful flawless bisque enhances the deeply modeled features on the bright-eyed child, original body.
