Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass paperweight inset eyes with spiral threading, mauve-blushed eye shadow, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, shaded nostrils, accented eye corners, closed mouth with shaded lips, separately modeled pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at elbows, hips and knees, lovely silk gown, undergarments, shoes, and woven bonnet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 12. Comments: Pierre-Francois Jumeau, circa 1875. Value Points: the exquisite complexion, splendid eyes, and grand size indicate the origin of the portrait poupee for exhibition purposes.
