8" (20 cm.) All-wooden lion with carved mane, glass inset eyes, slightly-parted lips, painted whiskers, ball-jointed neck, jointed legs, rope tail. Excellent condition. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1910, Style II, outstanding preservation with especially fine carving of mane and well-defined facial features enhanced by most artistic original painting.
