Solid domed paper mache shoulder head, painted black pate, painted blue eyes, thick black upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, closed mouth, original brunette wig in original coiffure, pink kid poupee body with shapely torso, shapely kid arms and legs, mitten hands. Condition: generally excellent, one vertical 1" separation on front shoulder plate. Comments: French, circa 1840. Value Points: beautiful original complexion and painted features, very sturdy body, the doll is wearing its original perfectly-fitted silver gauze costume, undergarments, silver slippers, woven bonnet.
