Description
17 1/2" (44 cm.) Pink-tinted bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked fringed brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, slightly-parted outlined lips with defined tongue, two porcelain lower teeth, impressed cheek dimples, auburn mohair wig, composition and wooden fully-jointed body, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 5636 6 1/2 Heubach (sunburst mark). Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1915. Value Points: wonderfully sculpted impressed dimples and laughter lines are enhanced by excellent painting of complexion and features.
