Pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate with extra articulation allowing the head to tilt forward and side-to-side as well as swivel, very full cheeks, brilliant cobalt blue enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted dark curly lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented pale lips, ears pierced into head, blonde mohair wig in elaborate coiffure, kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees, wooden arms with dowel-articulation at shoulders, elbows and wrists. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Auguste Dehors, the poupee has his deposed neck articulation of 1866. Value Points: very beautiful poupee with rare depose articulation, brilliant eyes, delicate bisque, very sturdy original body with articulated wooden arms, fine antique gown, undergarments, very fancy leather boots, and bone-handled parasol.
