11" (28 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass eyes, mohair lashes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, carton torso with internal mechanism, metal-hinged upper legs, composition lower limbs. When keywound the doll totters from side to side, as though just learning to walk. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SFBJ 301 Paris 1 (head). Comments: Roullet et Decamps, circa 1910. Value Points: all original, the walking child is wearing original aqua silk dress and bonnet with lace trim, undergarments, and leather shoes with original paper label on the sole of "Au Nain Bleu", the luxury Parisian doll shop.
