Description
12" (30 cm.) x 10". Within a wooden shadowbox with ebony frame is a poured wax doll in original nun's habit with coiffe, rosary, silk covered altar upon which are two paper decorative urns containing arrangement of silk flowers and small book. The walls are paper lined and have several applied images. The exterior of the box has original paper covers. Excellent condition. Continental, early 1800s.
