Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes with dot highlights, brushstroked brows with decorative glaze, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with shaded lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over Steiner pate, Steiner composition fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: J. Steiner Bte SGDG Paris Fre A 11 (head) Le Petit Parisien Bebe Steiner (body stamp). Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1888. Value Points: most endearing gentle expression enhanced by finest quality of bisque and painting, original signed body, antique costume including lace-trimmed dress, undergarments, kidskin boots signed C.M. and fancy lace ruffled bonnet.
