Description
10" (25 cm.) Bisque socket head with solid dome, sculpted soft brown hair with curls above each ear and defined topknot, painted large brown googly side-glancing intaglio eyes, painted upper lashes, one-stroke brows, button nose, unusual triangle-shaped closed mouth, composition toddler body jointed at shoulders and hips, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1 Heubach (in square). Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1915. Value Points: rare googly model with excellent sculpting and bisque, the googly holds a pair of all-bisque characters by Heubach in whimsical poses, with painted shoes and factory original costumes.
