Description
15" (38 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with brown sculpted hair, blue glass sleep eyes, painted curly lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth modeled as though open with laughing expression on the shaded and outlined lips, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body, antique costume including double-breasted velvet jacket. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 116 39. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912. Value Points: very rare modeled-hair version of the 116 model, has finest quality of bisque and painting, original body and body finish.
