7" (18 cm.) Waist-up porcelain half-doll, her head turned demurely, with sculpted brown hair in elaborate long flowing curls onto her shoulders beneath a small cap with gilt-edged pink ruffle decorated with three yellow, red, and blue feathers and a gilt comb, with low-bodice blouse edged with white ruffle, magenta sleeves with orange cuff bows, arms modeled away and clutching a rose. Marks: (N over crown blue stamp). Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1915, Aesteste Volkstedter Porzellanfabrick, a rare large size of the elaborately-sculpted half-dolls.
