Pressed bisque socket head, very plump cheeks, small brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, mauve blushed eye shadow, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, delicately-accented outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists, lovely antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks:1 (head). Comments: Emile Jumeau, his earliest period bebe with portrait like luxury modeling and bisque, circa 1877. Value Points: most endearing gentle expression is enhanced by very delicate pale complexion on the rare early doll, original body and body finish, antique costume includes bonnet with silk label of the prestige Parisian doll boutique Au Nain Bleu.
