15" (38 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass inset eyes with richly-spiral-threaded eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, kid gusset-jointed body, bisque forearms. Condition: generally excellent, kid repair at knee joints. Marks: 51/6. Comments: Sonneberg, circa 1885, mystery maker. Value Points: splendid eyes, lovely bisque, wearing original red twill dress, silk bonnet with lace ruffle, undergarments, socks, and fancy ankle boots.
