Description
7" (18 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, tiny blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth modeled as though open with outlined lips and two tiny beaded teeth, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, loop-jointed bisque arms and legs, bare feet, antique costume and bonnet. Condition: generally excellent, tiniest flake on inside of one finger. Marks: 178 1 (head) Kestner (crown and streamer label on the torso). Comments: Kestner, circa 1912. Value Points: rare model in all-original condition, wonderful character expression and bisque.
