19" (48 cm.) One-piece carved wooden head and torso with "bedpost" shaped head, flat-back torso, carved nose, elongated throat, almond-shaped black enamel eyes, painted complexion, tiny "dot" eyeliner and brows, closed mouth, blushed cheek dots, brunette hand-tied human hair wig, cloth upper arms, blue kidskin arms with stitched and separated fingers, crude legs with simple jointing (knee joints unmoving). Condition: generally excellent but as noted. Comments: English, circa 1790. Value Points: well-preserved original complexion, hair, and wearing original gown with matching turban.
