Description
21" (53 cm.) Arranged on an oval ebony wooden base under a blown glass dome is a classic French gilded metal wedding presentation, featuring mirrored back with painted blue bird, pink satin tufted cushion for holding wedding memorabilia, and elaborate gilt ormolu symbols of lovebirds and sheaths of wheat. Resting upon the presentation cushion is an extraordinary silver tinsel bouquet with elaborate fringe, symbols, and accents, so profuse as to actually hide the cushion and mirrored back. Generally excellent. French, circa 1890.
