18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head with plump facial shape, brown glass sleep and side-glancing googly eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, brunette human hair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 173 - 9. Comments: Hertel and Schwab, circa 1916. Value Points: especially deep sculpting of the wide beaming smile with dimples at the lip edges, finest quality of bisque and painting, original body and body finish.
