9 1/2" (24 cm.) x 9". In delicate pastels,a woman with topknot and ringlet curls is depicted in semi-profile,with draped shawl,single rose in her hair,and brooch at center bodice. Signed by the artist on left,and presented in gold-leaf carved wooden frame. Early 1800s.
