Terra cotta sculpted hair with deeply-modeled and comb marked tousled brown hair, painted facial features, blue enamel eyes, closed mouth sculpted to appear as though open, tongue tip, hemp-wrapped body, terra cotta hands and lower legs. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Neapolitan, early 1800s, depicting a young village boy. Value Points: fine details of sculpting especially of hair, fully modeled ears, and fine original finish and costume.
