Description
17" (43 cm.) All-cloth doll with pressed and oil-painted facial features and hair, short brown hair with detailed forelock curl, shaded brown eyes with black and brown upper eyeliner, lightly-tinted brows, two chin seams, stitch-jointed shoulders, disc-jointed five-seam legs, separate-stitched thumbs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Kathe Kruse (left foot). Comments: Kathe Kruse, circa 1920, Type I. Value Points: beautiful painted face and hair with fine original finish, and wonderful costume with matching knitted bonnet which is likely original (hooded fleecy jacket also included).
