17" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes with dot highlights, thickly-fringed brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth, accent line between the shaded lips, dimpled chin, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French composition body with jointing at shoulders and hips, and kiss-throwing joint in right elbow. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Bru Jne 8. Comments: Maison Bru, circa 1892. Value Points: wide-eyed bebe with very choice bisque and delicate complexion, original body and body finish, beautiful antique costume including lace-trimmed costume, bonnet, and very fancy shoes.
