Description
6" (15 cm.) and 8". Each has solid domed bisque swivel head on bisque torso, tinted brown baby hair, blue or brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, tinted brows, closed mouth, loop-jointed bisque arms and legs in bent baby pose. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: copr by Grace S Putnam Germany 4-20 (or 6-15). Comments: Bye-lo, designed by American artist Grace S. Putnam, made in Germany, circa 1925. Value Points: the babies are presented in original fitted layette, the larger doll with original costume, and the smaller with original Bye-lo paper label.
