9 1/2" (24 cm.) l. Of curly white mohair with black painted ears and eye surrounds, amber glass eyes, black embroidered nose, swivel head and jointed legs, upright tail, thick brown leather collar. With original early button in ear. Excellent overall condition with some light lacking of mohair on nose and left leg. Germany, Steiff, circa 1916, the dog, named Caesar, was created in homage to King Edward VII of England whose favorite dog had been named Caesar.
