Description
17" (43 cm.) All-cloth doll with pressed and oil painted facial features, brown sculpted hair with modeled forelock, sculpted blushed ears, very small painted brown eyes with black and brown upper eyeliner, tiny "flat" nose, closed mouth with downcast expression, muslin body with stitched together fingers, antique costume. Condition: very good/excellent, light smudge on cheeks, some dustiness of body. Comments: Kathe Kruse, circa 1910, the premiere model of the firm, made for one year only notable for its smaller nose. Value Points: rare model with endearing poignant expression.
