Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate with modeled bosom, deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, richly-tinted mauve eyeshadow, widely arched feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with pale outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French kid bebe body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees, bisque forearms and hands, lovely blue silk dress in the 1880 manner, undergarments, leather shoes. Condition: small professional retouch on upper left eye rim and right ear lobe, hands restored, original body. Marks: Bru Jne (shoulderplate). Bebe Bru... (paper label on body). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, his first period bebe known as "Brevete", circa 1878. Value Points: especially pretty example of the early bebe with gentle demeanor.
