Likely handmade from magazine pattern of the 1930s, the knit doll has embroidered features and wonderful "pink" knit hair, with knitted-on costume of peach and mauve wool having embroidered button and trim detail. American, likely a handmade gift from a fan to Shirley Temple, 1930s.
