Description
10" (25 cm.) Each has highly-expressive sculpted face and short curly brown hair, enamel eyes, original painted finish, on linen-wrapped padded torso and upper limbs, with sculpted lower limbs, very shapely legs with bare feet, one wearing original silk costume (other well costumed, albeit not original). Condition: generally excellent, possible finger restoration or repainting. Comments: early 1800s. Value Points: rare pair of angels having carved wooden wings with original painted "feathers".
