20" (51 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with brown sculpted hair arranged into tightly clustered curls at the forehead and loose finger curls at the back, decorated with three gilt-edged blue hair ribbons and a gilt-edged magenta barette at the back, pierced ears, blue painted eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brown brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, painted blue bodice edged with lustre Dresden ruffles, muslin stitch-jointed body, leather arms, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, 1" faint hairline at front rim of shoulder plate, one loop of bow broken at crown. Comments: C.F. Kling, Germany, circa 1875. Value Points: rarity factors include brown hair, fancy hair decorations, and Dresden ruffles.
