8" (20 cm.) One-piece joined trio of all-bisque babies are posed as though marching, the outer two with jointed outside arms, and the middle baby clasping the back torsos of the others, each with modeled bisque military cap in three different variations, brown curly sculpted hair, painted side-glancing googly eyes, variation in mouth painting including laughing or "O" shaped with painted teeth. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, Hertwig, circa 1915, an identical set (except without caps) were named "Die Lustigen Drei" (The Jolly Three) in 1915 Hertwig catalog. Value Points: rare set in large size with notable variations of caps and facial expression.
