23" (58 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes, all-around grey eye shadow, painted brown upper lashes, fringed brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accent dot on bottom lip, brunette short curly mohair wig, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent, small repair to organdy at back of dress. Comments: Lenci, the doll has facial model of the 300 series, although is a much large size, circa 1930, and may have been presented as an exhibition model. Value Points: rare doll with well-preserved original schoolgirl costume in rich colors, with appliqued felt stripes on organdy dress, matching felt bonnet with felt flowers, ruffled organdy petticoat, pantalets, socks, yellow felt shoes, and carrying a little wooden doll with Lenci felt and organdy costume.
