10" (26 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted facial features, small blue eyes, black upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with downcast pouting expression, accent line between the lips, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 114 26. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1910, from their art character series, the model marketed as "Gretchen". Value Points: fine bisque and painting, original wig, body, body finish, lovely original costume and shoes. Included is her own little bisque candy container, depicting a bisque child with sculpted bunny costume with ears, and with attached open-top egg designed for use as candy container (impressed 10540 and Heubach in square).
